The Club has 142 members and in 2011 the money raised was £1,650. Over the last six years since 2005 the money raised is just under £11,800

This has bought Solar Power Blinds £1,460 Lapel Radio Microphone £470, 50 Stacking Chairs £480 Crockery for the kitchen £173 Contribution towards the Dishwasher £640 Notice Board for the Library corridoor £50 Contribution towards the Sound System £1,130 Contribution to the Staging £1,760 Contribution towards the lift for People with Disabilities £2,112

100 Club funds spent equipping the Hall in 2011 totalled around £3,150 and was used to buy 7 tables and a table trolley £850 plus £2,3000 towards the P.V.Cells.

The 100 Club aims to raise money to help equip our Village Hall. Membership costs £24 per annum payable in advance. Half the money raised (after deducting expenses) is allocated to a prize fund. Draws take place on the last Saturday of each month with an additional draw at Christmas.The prize fund is allocated as follows:
Monthly Draw
Three quarters of the monthly prize fund
Christmas Draw
One quarter of each month’s prize fund accumulated

We are registered with East Riding of Yorkshire Council to run a lottery and a copy of the rules can be sent to you. To become a member of the 100 Club and to be eligible for the Monthly and Christmas Draws, contact

Swanland Village Hall 100 Club holds information comprising name, address and telephone number of members. This information will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, but please notify us in writing if you do not wish your data to be held by us.

Example
With 100 people taking part the income would be £2,400. Assuming there are no expenses, the total annual prize fund would be £1200 or £100 per month.

£75 of this will be paid in prizes each month
(£45, £18 and £11) with £25 going in to the Christmas draw, which would be £180, £75 & £45.
