Fundraising - Village Hall 100+ Club

Funds are always required both for ongoing maintenance and new equipment. We have a number of fundraising methods, including:

Donations can be made through the Treasurer. We can normally obtain a tax refund under the Gift Aid scheme for your donations.

The 100+ Club This raises money to help to equip the hall. We are always looking for new members and the more we have, the larger the prize draw will be!

Monthly Draw is three quarters of the monthly prize fund

Christmas Draw is one quarter of each month’s prize fund accumulated

We are registered with East Riding of Yorkshire Council to run a lottery and a copy of the rules can be sent to you.

The draw for the winning 3 tickets normally takes place at
Swanland Library 10am. on the last Saturday of each month
During the present time Brendan Riley will be doing the draw from his home and asking neighbours to look in the window and act as witnesses to the draw

To join the 100+ Club, please download an application/standing order form and return to Marion Riley at 23 Manor Road, Swanland, HU14 3NZ

We would like to invite members to the bumper Christmas prize draw that we are holding on Tuesday 14th December in the Village Hall. Mince pies and mulled wine will be served to members and their partners/friends from 7.30pm.

The 100 Club prizes on this occasion will be over £200, £100 and £50. The draw will take place at 8 p.m. followed by entertainment. This is our way of saying 'thank you' for your support throughout the Covid year. As we missed our social get together in 2020, we hope that you will come along and enjoy meeting up again. Of course we will be aware of recommendations re distancing, masks and hand sanitizers. This will be my last 100+ Club social as I am retiring as a Trustee in November. I would like to thank all of you most sincerely for your loyal support since the Hall opened in 2004.
